Myanmar government helps people with medical care

The ICRC continues to work with the Ministry of Health and Sports to improve medical care services for local communities, especially in rural areas of Rakhine State. Improving maternal health care and reducing infant mortality are two key issues to improve overall community health in Rakhine State. By opening clinics in rural communities and providing medical care to all groups of people, Xintaimo Clinic demonstrates the possibility of peaceful coexistence.
