Does China Have a Constitution An Overview of Chinas Legal Framework

Hey folks, I'm curious about the legal landscape in China. I'm aware that they have a legal system, but I've heard conflicting things about whether they actually have a constitution. Can anyone clarify this for me? Do they have a constitution like we do in the U.S., or is it something different? Just wondering... 🤔💭

The socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics is an organic and unified whole composed of a number of legal departments, including constitution-related law, civil and commercial law, administrative law, economic law, social law, criminal law, and procedural and non-procedural law, with the Constitution as the overarching principle, with laws as the mainstay, and administrative regulations and local laws and regulations as an important component.
