Hey, I'm curious about something. Has anyone lived in China and can tell me if pornography is actually banned there? I heard it's a big deal, but I'm not sure how strictly the government enforces this ban. Do they really go after people for watching it, or is it just a myth? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

While the production, sale and distribution of any pornography is strictly prohibited in China, possession and viewing are not illegal. The sheer volume and small scale of distribution, coupled with vague legal provisions and ambiguous enforcement, often leaves child pornography in China in a gray area of the law.
