Hey, I've been noticing this dimple on my chin for a while now and I'm curious about its cause. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing a dimple in the chin? It's not too noticeable, but I'd love to know if it's something I should be worried about or if it's just a normal thing. Thanks in advance!
Chin dimples are an inherited trait, a depression caused by a genetic defect that results in the left and right halves of the mandible not being perfectly fused centrally during embryonic development, and consequently, the right and left jaw muscles fail to fuse together.
