Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows what China's official national animal is? I've heard different things, but I'm not sure which one is actually recognized by the government. Any ideas? Would love to hear your thoughts!
China's National Animal - Giant Panda The giant panda (scientific name: ailuropoda melanoleuca) belongs to the family Ursidae, the giant panda genus of mammals, is endemic to China. There are only two subspecies, the Sichuan subspecies and the Qinling subspecies. Females are 10-20% smaller than males.
