Hey everyone, I'm curious! I've been wondering about this for a while now. What's the name of that gland located right under the chin? I've seen it in medical diagrams, but I can't remember its name. Anyone know? Thanks in advance!
The adenoids, also known as the pharyngeal tonsils, are located in the posterior wall of the nasopharyngeal roof, beneath the adenoids is the prevertebral fascia, the adenoids are flanked by the rounded occipitals, the adenoids are leaning forward to where the posterior nostrils should be, and beneath the adenoids the oropharyngeal region should be.
